Backstory

I am a muggle born witch, and I have only just received my letter recently, despite being 14 years old. I found out that my parents have been hiding my Hogwarts letters since I turned 11, terrified of what a witch would do to the family. The one day I went to go check the mail myself, I was shocked to discover a Hogwarts letter with my name on it. I had a big argument with my parents about them hiding this for 3 years until I decided to leave and do things myself. I went to stay at the leaky cauldron and I am now good friends with the owner, so he lets me stay for free. This is my first year at Hogwarts, and I can't wait to see what kind of things I will learn.
