Backstory

It was quickly obvious that I was different than my family members.
After discovering that I was a witch, I got my letter to Hogwarts (my country hasn't got a big wizarding school).
My brother felt a bit jealous and sad because I was leaving for a great adventure in another country.
Arriving at Hogwarts was like coming home.
The Sorting Hat gave me the choice between Ravenclaw and Slytherin, I chose Ravenclaw after hard deliberation.
I honestly wouldn't have minded being in Slytherin.
I chose Ravenclaw in the end because I do have more affinity with learning than being cunning and maybe I'm too much of an eccentric to be in Slytherin.
My studies at Hogwarts went very well and I got O's in potions (hence the Slytherin choice), spells & enchantments, herbology and history of magic. I got good grades on Dark Arts and Ancient Runes too, but was pants at Care of Magical Creatures and Arithmancy.
Eventually, as I love potions and spells, I decided to become a Potion & Spell Developer.
It is not easy in the beginning, as the Ministry has to approve every new spell and potion (lot's of paperwork), but I'm starting to get quite succesfull.
And it's allso a bit dangerous, which gives some exitement once in a while.
