Backstory

When I received my Hogwarts Letter that ordinary normal day, I didn’t know what it would mean. At first I thought it was just a joke, ya know? My sister sometimes played pranks on me, or blamed me when some weird stuff happened around the house. How was I supposed to know that fires couldn't start themselves? Anyway, my parents were going to go shopping in London anyway and they figured they would humor me. Boy, the look on their face when we stopped by the Barren Bulldog pub and the sign said “The Leaky Cauldron” instead! The innkeeper was an odd but friendly man, and there were some people to help show us around. The most amazing part of the trip to Diagon Alley was letting my wand pick me, made of yew with a dragon heart string core 12" long. Olivander told me stories about notorious wizards who held possession of these extraordinary yew wands, about how they choose the exceptional wizard, not mediocre ones. None of this meant to insult of course, but I'm proud of my wand and I love casting spells and try hard to learn new jinxes to improve myself. I am very adventurous and look forward to many adventures at Hogwarts.
