Backstory

Maya is a pure-blood witch who has just started her first year at Hogwarts and has been assigned to Hufflepuff. She often walks around the castle starry-eyed, but if you look at her long enough for her to notice you, you'll for sure be greeted with a wave and a smile!

Description: Maya is a confident, social, optimistic and kind girl who always wants to help people in need or cheer others up. She's a loyal friend who stands up for people she cares about. Her hardworking, patient nature makes her a well-prepared, active student. She might seem to be more mature than other students her age, but that's only pretense.

Backstory: Maya's father is an employee at the Ministry of Magic at the Department of Animagus Registry, and her mother works at the Ministry at Runes & Symbols Department. They both were Hufflepuffs, met at Hogwarts, and had Maya just after graduation. She was raised at her family's house in Chelsea, London. She has one younger brother, whom she loves deeply, and who doesn't yet attend Hogwarts. In the future, Maya wants to become a professor at Hogwarts or an auror.

Maya is a metamorphomagus just like her mother, but was taught to be a mannerly girl and not to show-off, so not many people know about that.
The pet that she brought to Hogwarts is an orange tabby cat called Mister Mittens.
Her wand is a Fir wood with a Phoenix feather core 13 ¼" and slightly springy flexibility, and was bought at Ollivander's.
Maya's patronus most likely would be a wildcat.
She was born on 10th of April, and her zodiac sign is Aries.
Her favourite class and favourite magical creature are yet to be discovered.
