Backstory

I am the halfblood, half-sister of Beatrice and Anna Black, who are the pureblood nieces of Sirius Black. Basically, I'm related to Sirius. It isn't easy, being related to an alleged criminal. When he died, we found out the truth, that the traitor Peter Pettigrew, or Wormtail, had betrayed the Potters (James, or Prongs was our Godfather, and Lily was our Godmother), not our uncle, Padfoot. All three of us were ten when we found out. I was an accident. My parents, Emma Thomas and Levi Hiller, didn't mean to have me until they were older, but it happened. They were never married, and Levi, my dad, married Angelica Black, which made Bea and Anna my sisters. Mom -Emma- has cancer now, and is starting to heal.
We all got our letters inviting us to Hogwarts the same day, (they got theirs before I did and I thought that I was not going to go to Hogwarts.) Angelica ( Dad died in the Ministry Battle. He was overworking at the Ministry when it happened and joined in the fight) sent us to Hogwarts as soon as she could. She often told us "Hogwarts is the safest place."
When I was Sorted into Hufflepuff, I was excited, but also a little sad. Beatrice was Sorted into Gryffindor, Anna is is Ravenclaw, but most of our childhood friends are in Hufflepuff, although one is in Slytherin.
