Backstory

When I was sorted into Slytherin, I knew that everyone would believe I was some evil kid who was downright mean. But I know that Slytherins aren't just bad witches and wizards. Yes, we produce quite a few "evil" wizards and witches, but we aren't all evil. The sorting hat made me Slytherin because I am sly, sarcastic, and just plain out fit Slytherin.
I was a bit of a hatstall, though. The sorting hat completely threw away any chance of me getting into Hufflepuff, and soon decided Gryffindor wasn't the best fit. It actually asked for my opinion, and I said that everyone in my family was a different house, all except for Slytherin. So... he chose Slytherin.
My favorite class? Probably either History of Magic or DADA. Ooh! Or potions. The other classes were amazing, too, but these classes stood out... Mainly because I've been waiting for those classes specifically since my sister came back for the first break (1st year). And I didn't have any "least favorite" classes.
I'm a pureblood. Both my parents went to Hogwarts. But my dad was a muggleborn and my mom was a half-blood. Being in Slytherin as a pureblood doesn't help our image. It wasn't my fault that both my parents were magical and they fell in love! And it's not like I run around school screaming "I'm a pureblood, ya filthy mudbloods!" around school like some Slytherins.
I wasn't here, and my parents were in America visiting my grandparents. I'm quite happy they weren't there!
My greatest strength? Hm... My friends. And occasionally my wits. They both strengthen me and make me confident. Weakness... Probably my friends. If they were ever in danger, I would immediately try and save them. I would put myself in danger for them.
After school I'm looking to try and be a professor at the school. I'd be fine with any position, except for Herbology professor. That's not really my area of expertise. Yes, I like it, but again, not my greatest class.
The most fascinating aspect of magic would be what can be achieved if you use it to help the world. For example, if you invent something and give it to the Muggles, and it helps them, it could really benefit both the wizarding world and the Muggle world. I use magic for mainly helping others. The only time I use it for my own use is when I'm sick and need to get better fast.
What do I really want...? That's hard. I guess I don't really know. Sometimes I wonder if being an auror or even just a Ministry worker would be cool. As a young child, I used to want to be like Newt Scamander - go around the world in search for new items (in his case, beasts) and write a book about it. I love writing, so being something like that could be a possibility.
I have three pets. Two stay at home and one I bring to Hogwarts. Well, technically I have four pets, since we have an owl named Livre (French for book). But that's a family pet. I, myself, have a turtle (Sheldon), who acts like a dog inside his large tank, and a bearded dragon (Ollie), and whenever I'm home Ollie is always on my shoulder.. I also have my cat, Javert, who only eats strawberries and vegetable soup. I'm pretty sure my parents bewitched him so he wouldn't eat my other pets or the owl.
My famiy is a pretty strange one. Even for a wizard family. We live in a townhouse right outside of a bustling wizarding/muggle town near London. It's giant when you go inside, though. Anyways, my sister stays in her room, watching muggle television on her "electronic device". She's obsessed with muggles, and she plans to study them at the Ministry when she graduates next year. My dad created a game on this weird canvas thing where he plays with a saber made of light and companions with this thing called, "The Force". I don't even know. My mom just works all the time, and when she isn't working, she's singing. Always singing.
