Amelia Jenkins

Backstory

I am a Ravenclaw, and the hat chose this for me due to my sharp wit and my love for learning. I was a hatstall as it was indecisive as to whether or no i should be in Ravenclaw or Slytherin, due to my natural leadership skills and ambitions targets. I enjoy potions the most as i like creating new things and discovering the effects of another, I think it stems from my love of chemistry back in the muggle world. My least favourite is probably history, dont get me wrong, its understandable why it's needed, but I swear if that dratted teacher drones on i'm going to fall asleep! I did particularly well in herbology, as it is very important to my love of potions but they're just plants! I am a muggle born, i was raised by my two mums back in Manchster, but as i'm muggleborn, i feel like i have to work extra hard to prove i deserve to be amongst other witches and wizards. My greatest strength is my intelligence and my desire to help others, and my weakness is my self doubt, although, my need to help others is probably going to be my greatest downfall. When i leave, I would like to become a teacher here at Hogwarts and express my love of learning through helping younger children learn more and improve their weakest points. The most fascinating aspect of magic by far is how it all works and come together, I could gush about it all day but im afraid i dont wish to bore you. I want to use magic to help others and see their improvements, nothing makes me happier than seeing someones success at something they were once bad at. I own a white cat called Snow, i know, such a creative name, and shes very friendly and small, i think shes going to remain the size of a kitten for the rest of her life.
