Backstory

My name is Daisuke.

Miyamoto Daisuke.

I'm a Japanese Slytherin student, probably one of the few that attend Hogwarts. My parents moved to England when I was a baby because of turmoil between my parents and my grandparents and I've lived here ever since. My parents were both muggles, so I knew nothing of the Wizarding World—but that all changed on April 5th.

The day I received my letter.

It was a strange predicament and at first my parents—who couldn't read English very well—thought it was a prank. I had been accepted into Hogwarts. What even is Hogwarts? My parents ignored it but I could never get this "Hogwarts" out of my mind.

In July, we went back-to-school shopping. I was Eleven.

The letter was very serious about getting me to Hogwarts. It somehow found its way into Mother's purse and kept nudging her before finally flying out and unraveling right before her face.

She almost fainted.

There was no more debate about Hogwarts and Wizards after that. I somehow got into Diagon Alley and bought everything I needed. My parents couldn't quite find 9 and 3/4 station but I did. I said goodbye to my parents, and soon I was off to Hogwarts.

That was... five years ago? Now I'm a fifth year. I don't really know what to expect.
