Backstory

When I was younger, I lived in California with my sisters and family. We would visit my mother's parents in London every summer, and when I was nine I met one of my best friends, Nisha Warden. She was an orphan and had no idea she was a witch until I explained what she was to her. We kept in touch, and when I was ten we moved to England so my elder sister could attend Hogwarts, My dad went to Ilvermorny, but my mom went to Hogwarts and she wanted us to attend there, so off we moved. A year later and I was on the train to Hogwarts with Nisha, where we met a pair of red-headed twins that decided to prank us. Luckily it wasn't too bad and we got to Hogwarts fine. I was sorted into Gryffindor, and Nisha into Slytherin. Despite being in rival houses, we always remained the best of friends, and eventually the twins we met, Fred and George, became close to us as well.
