Backstory

Magic has always been a significant part of my life. As the daughter of a pure-blood witch and a muggle father, my mother was always sharing her magical talent with me. At the age of eight, I displayed my first sign of magic, when I held some sand at the beach and the granules began blooming into pearls. When it came time to go to school, my mother wanted me to attend Beauxbatons, like her and and the rest of the prestigious Havengold family. However, as we lived in Stratford-Upon-Avon, Hogwarts was the more efficient choice. At the time of sorting, it was a short wait before I was placed within Ravenclaw. My younger brother Jocasta turned eleven in my fourth year, but his letter was never received. Along with his lack of visible magical potential, it was soon discovered that Jocasta was a squib. This created a large rift within the family, and my mother's family completely cut us off. Hogwarts used to be my only escape from home, but now with all of this extra drama, I don't know where I fit in or where I can go to escape.
