Backstory

Hi! I'm Arabella Bode! I'm a young half-blood country girl that recently go accepted into Hogwarts! Like I said earlier I'm a half blood so, it came as a surprise to me and my family that I did indeed have magical gifts.

WHERE I GREW UP~~~~~~~~
I grew up on a small farm with my mother, father, and older sister. We didn't have much and had to continuously tend to our farm in order to provide for ourselves. Me and my family didn't mind though; we oved each other. My mother was a muggle who had lived on a farm her whole life. She fell in love with my father long ago, but she never told me how. I wonder why? My father was a wizard with many magical talents. Sadly we have many problems with his side of the family because he is a pure blood and they didn't approve of his marriage with a muggle. Finally my older sister was a half blood like me, but however, did not have any magical abilities. I say WAS because she disappeared about 3-4 years ago. No one knows where she is. This is why I normally keep to myself and don't speak as much. While I immerse myself into a book I can escape the harsh possibility that she could be gone forever.

JOINING HOGWARTS~~~~~~~~~
When I received my Hogwarts letter, I was more then happy. I could finally research the thing that I loved most in the world. Herbology. I spent much time alone in the nearby mountains making noted about the plants that lurked around there. I've always felt like plants had called me to them. I knew as soon as I got my letter that I could finally strive to become the best herbologist through hard work and perseverance. But, deep in my heart I knew that I was hoping that by coming here I would be able to see my beloved sister again.
