Solita Septima Mundungus

Backstory

I come from a half-blood family, my father being from the prominent, pure-blood line of Mundunguses who are attributed with the invention of a potion to stop the common cold. The only reason the potion did not go anywhere was because it resulted in most patients growing extra limbs, but my father never mentions this. My mother is a muggle with a Ph. D and the highest expectations concerning grades, her interest is mainly centered around science, she was horrified to find magical students did not study as much science and math as muggles.

As an only child a lot of pressure is put on me to be an exceeding student. My father having come from the Gryffindor House had wished for me to be sorted there, but my mom, seeing as Ravenclaw was for the smart, secretly rooted for it. I guess I'm more like my mom than I thought.
