Backstory

I never considered myself anything special. In fact, I've always considered myself quite ordinary. Even when my stuffed animals would gossip they'd never talk about me as anything special. But that was just it. My stuffed animals talked. And they didn't just talk in my head. My mother could hear them speak and could even carry conversations with them.

The first time I'd learned what I was, I didn't even fully understand the name. 'What's a muggle-born?" I asked the nice man when he came to my house. He explained to me everything I asked. I learned about Hogwarts, wizardry, wands, and even the different treats in the wizarding world. He even gave me a chocolate frog that took me about a half hour of timeless entertainment for 8 year old me to catch.

After I learned that I was a witch, I engulfed myself in studying any magical field I could. The first book I found was a book on Charms. I was baffled by all the spells and wand movements it took to create and cast a perfect spell. To me, charms is the base of all magic, and that's what makes it so fascinating...

Ever since I learned 4 years ago that I was a witch, my mindset and study habits have improved intensely. I am no longer just some ordinary shadow in a crowd of suns; I am the moon. I'm special. I am unique. And, best of all, I'm a witch!
