Ginny Winter

Backstory

My name is Jennifer Winter but all my friends call me Ginny (they say my red hair and tough attitude makes me similar to Ginny Potter).
My favourite subject is charms but I do love all the magical creatures that can be discovered throughout the wizarding world. I have a soft spot for animals.
I am a half blood witch. Dad was more than shocked when he found out mum was a witch and he left. Being sorted into Slytherin, after all the stories I had heard, I was scared that I would get bullied for not being pureblood but to my surprise, the other Slytherins were more than welcoming of me. They're really not as bad as everyone thinks.
I grew up in the muggle world, despite mum being a witch, so I was really looking forward to coming to Hogwarts and learning all about the wizarding world. I make sure to learn all that I can about magical history, spells, and famous witches and wizards. I try to be the best student I can be and stay on top of all my work so I can be successful after I graduate and have a great life.
