Backstory

When I received my Hogwarts Letter that wonderful day, I didn’t know what was in store for me. At first I panicked about how I would get all these weird yet compulsory items on the booklist. Pewter's cauldron? An owl? Hogwarts: A History? How was I supposed to know where or even how to buy these? Anyway, my parents were going to go shopping in London anyway and they figured they would humor me. Boy, the look on their face when we stopped by the Barren Bulldog pub and the sign said “The Leaky Cauldron” instead! The innkeeper was an odd but friendly man, and there were some people to help show us around. The coolest part of Diagon Alley was picking my gorgeous owl. I've named her Athena because of how smart and elegant she is! I'm determined to teach her a couple of tricks before the next year starts.
