Paige Newbern

Backstory

Hogwarts was always given and I'm told my sister and I have been on the list since birth. My family on both sides are Gryffindors all the way back to Medieval Scotland (and trust me, you'll never hear the end of it - whatever you do, don't let Gram drag you down the family portrait hall). Imagine their looks of shock when I was sorted into Hufflepuff. The little sis got sorted into Ravenclaw and my money's on Minister of Magic for her, really. It's always nice to shake things up a bit. Hufflepuffs may not be the loudest, or the bravest, or even the smartest - but we're good pals to have and can be sneaky when the occasion calls for it.

My best mates are in Slytherin and as far as I know, we're giving the Marauders a run for their money in the prank department. I'm a Keeper on the House team and I'm decent at it - I'm no Weasley, but I do my best. Keeps me occupied, at any rate. Dad says I'm to be an Auror, like him, and Mum is convinced I need to work at St. Mungos. Haven't decided so far who I'm going to disappoint. I'd really just like to pass my OWLs and my NEWTs and then worry about pesky little things like the future.

If you ever need me, you can find me in the Library studying or in the kitchens baking with the elves.
