Backstory

Wow. I'm still totally in shock. I can't believe that I, Cara Dodsen, lame kid in the back of the classroom, is a witch. My parent's were totally freaked when they saw the letter. At first, we all thought it was some sick joke, maybe made by someone at school or something. But, nope! It was completely real! I'm a witch! Wow... Anyway, I'm just a girl that loves reading and making new friends. It sucks that I can't talk to my - er, what was the word? Oh! Muggle! - friends much any more. What even is the point of owls? I'd much rather use my phone to text them, but I really probably shouldn't. Best to say I just went to some prep school or something. I really love riddles and writing, too. You can almost always find me scribbling something down in my notebook, or hanging out in the library. I'm a bit of a procrastinator, but I usually finish my work on time!
