Backstory

I wasn't sure where the Sorting Hat would sort me. It took so long for the old thing to make a decision. I'm not sure it made the best one when it finally exclaimed, "Hufflepuff!" It was torn between Slytherin and Hufflepuff, rather an odd combination. When I want to be, I can be cunning and sly. But to those who earn my trust, I will be loyal to the end. Loyalty is very important to me so I guess that's why I'm in Hufflepuff. I really love Charms class and I can't wait for Care of Magical Creatures. I really want to be a Magizoologist. I am a pureblood, my mums a Ravenclaw, my pa's a Slytherin turned Death Eater. It makes life difficult, everyone used to say I was bound to be Slytherin and a Dark Wizard like him. However now that I'm in Hufflepuff, I'm finding I can break my fate. I am aiming to be a Magizoologist and a Professor one day. If I'm honest, there will always be a pull in the back of my mind which makes me long to be a Dark Wizard. However, my new friends are showing me that there is more in l can be and do. I can snap sometimes because of that mental connection I have with a Dark Wizard. I'm not sure what causes it, but my owl, Apollo always helps take my mind off things.
