Aryanna Elaina Mathews

Backstory

My mother, Sophia- Rose Mathews nee Garcia, met my father, John Mathews, while at university in England. She is a muggle, while my dad is a wizard, but when she found out about the wizarding world she was unsurprised. She was always one to believe in the fantastic and magical. My father comes from a wizarding family and studies muggles and muggle culture. He wants to strengthen muggle- wizard bonds and communication. They were married in England and moved to my mothers hometown of Anaheim California.
I grew up an only child in Anaheim, always knowing about magic and learning how to control it. I was only homeschooled until I was 8 then I went to public school to help me learn to integrate into the public. I've never been good at that. I'm actually extremely shy and reserved. I never felt comfortable interacting with other kids, I prefer reading books.
I got an acceptance letter from my fathers alma mater, Hogwarts (he was a Ravenclaw). I went shopping with my father in a place called Diagon Alley and it was amazing, it was the most magical place I've ever been to, well except maybe Disneyland.
I'm nervous about starting at a new school, not knowing anyone is nerve wracking, but my father has re insured me that Hogwarts is amazing and a welcoming home.
