Backstory

I am a half-blood who goes to school at Hogwarts, although I spend my summers outside of the country. My mother is a witch and my father is a muggle.

My mom did not wish for me or my older sister to grow up around magic so she moved us away from the reminders of the wizarding world and away from Hogwarts to a country with a very small magical school.

She really didn't want to send either of us to Hogwarts but once we started showing signs of magical abilities, she wanted us to have the same education experience that she did.

I'm much closer to my dad and my hufflepuff sister Sadie than I am my mom. I just can't forgive her from making us grow up away from our magical hometown. I know almost nothing about magic because of her and I'm worried about my first year at Hogwarts. How far behind will I be compared to those who have been around other magical people?
