Backstory

I didn't even know that the Wizarding World existed before I received my letter. I was born in California, USA and lived there for a couple of years before I moved to England. But oh boy, my parents were really worried when I said I had to go to Hogwarts. They were worried that my Muggle education would slip if I went there. I promised them that I would continue to study Muggle subjects as much as I could, which relieved them somewhat. I am interested in all of the subjects here, but Potions and Charms really catch my eye. I also love to snuggle in the library and just read a couple of books. I would like to make a lot of friends here and I know that Hogwarts is gonna be a great place!
