Backstory

Well, I was not surprised at all when I’ve got my Hogwarts Letter. To be honest, I was rather disappointed. Despite the fact that I clearly was not a squib, I still hoped the letter would get lost or maybe the owl would go astray. Of course, I’m not crazy and it has nothing to do with Hogwarts itself, it’s just... Let’s say it has always been a lot of pressure. My mom is an auror, my uncle graduated at top of his class and now works at CoEC, and a background like this creates perfect conditions for preadolescent rebellion. But magic is not something you let go off so easily so after all I did end up packing my things and, in fact, Hogwarts turned out to be okay. Honestly, the train ride won me over. I’m still not sure what I’m going to do with my life, but for now running away to live amongst muggles is off the table.
