Eleanor Potter

Backstory

My name is Eleanor Potter and I am the first in my family to be sorted into Hufflepuff. Even now, my older brother James and his friends refuse to let me live that one down. But, my mum says it suits me. I'm incredibly loyal and if you mess with one of my friends or family... well, you mess with me. The Sorting Hat kind of paused when it was placed on my head, it didn't shout out Gryffindor immediately like my brother told me it would. It said I was capable of both Gryffindor and Hufflepuff, but I should make the decision myself. I thought about choosing Gryffindor to keep the Potter name going, but then I thought about what the Sorting Hat said about Hufflepuff and I chose it.

My favourite classes so far are Transfiguration and Potions. I really love Professor Slughorn, though he can be a bit cumbersome. I hope to become a Healer when I finish Hogwarts, I think I want to help people. Or maybe I will be a Professor. Who knows?

I have an owl named Penguin. I've had him for years, he's really the best. I also play Quidditch but I didn't make the team this year, but that's okay. I don't mind, I can cheer my brother on (even though I really shouldn't be cheering for the rival house)!

My parents are very supportive of my brother and I. And they have also taken under their wings my brother's friends, Sirius, Remus and Peter. I've grown up with them all and they really feel like family! Although, they are a couple of years older.
