Backstory

(Younger Student) I was found in London wandering the streets in winter. I was five years old and didn't remember anything but my first name. I lived in a group home with other children and Wilhelmina Dawns, who had found me that fateful night, and her husband George. On my tenth birthday I noticed that Mrs. Dawns seemed to be watching me closely, but I couldn't think of a reason why she should. She was writing many letters, too, and seemed unhappy about something. I found out later that she had received a Hogwarts letter for me but was absolutely convinced that I was a muggle. That's when I found out she was a witch and had left the wizarding world. I had known that I had strange powers, but I had kept them hidden as well as I could, believing that others would hate me for them. The Hogwarts letter showed me, how wrong I had been to think that. Having magic powers was suddenly something normal and good. Coming to Hogwarts suddenly opened up a new perspective for me. What if my parents had been wizards? Maybe that was why I couldn't remember anything from my past. What if I could find them?
