Backstory

Your life changes forever when you find out your a witch. Like it fully gets turned upside down. I was never particularly special, kept to the side, quiet. But this, this was it. I'd found my sparkle. But no. It simply didn't occur to me that I might just be terrible at magic. I exaggerate. I wasn't the worst in class but I was definitely in the bottom half. Just like normal. Well normal in everything except maths. I loved maths. I liked how there was always a straightforward answer it was just hiding from you. I was genuinely heartbroken when maths wasn't part of the Hogwarts syllabus. I kept it up though, just for fun (I'm cool, I know). The real trouble came when I had to decide what I wanted to do with my life after Hogwarts. My grades weren't fantastic but worst of all I hadn't excelled in anything. I was merely average at everything. Both my parents are accountants and I've always been fascinated by the job. It just seems like more of what I love. Maths. So I figured if muggles need accountants wizards probably do too. I work closely with the goblins at Gringotts as well as high net worth individuals ensuring their accounts are in order as well as in some cases offering financial advice. I qualified as a muggle accountant last year but the rules of double entry do need tweaking a bit when you're talking about magic...
