Backstory

No one in my family was surprised when I was sorted into Ravenclaw. The sorting hat barely touched my head before it called out the house. My older brother and sister are both Gryffindors, like my dad, but I've always been more like my mom, who was also a Ravenclaw. I came to Hogwarts with high hopes because of the amazing and enthusiastic stories my parents told. They were contemporaries of Harry Potter and mom's brother fought and died in the Battle of Hogwarts. So far, I love it just as much as I thought I would. So far, I love potions the most. I know many students dislike the tedious nature of potions work, but I can't get enough. My siblings want to go into law enforcement, like dad who's on the Magical Law Enforcement Patrol, but I'd rather do something related to potions, or maybe become a healer like mom. I'd have to improve my social skills, though. I am rather shy and bookish, pretty much the opposite of my dad and siblings. If it weren't for mom, I'd feel like a real black sheep.
