Backstory

When I received my Hogwarts Letter on my 18th birthday, I was in awe. I had never expected to receive it as it was speculated that the records of muggle-born wizards born between Voldemort's rise to power in 1997 and May 2nd 1998 had been destroyed, according to a wizard I met during my travels. I was incredibly excited to receive my letter knowing that Hogwarts is were I truly belonged after years and years of not fitting in with my muggle peers. Going to Diagon Alley and finding my way to Hogwarts was the most exciting and rewarding experience of my life and I knew I would excel at the school regardless of my age.
