Backstory

(Younger Student) I think I knew about Hogwarts before I started breathing, if that's possible. I was an "accident" and took my father's last name at his request, but let's be clear: my no-good mudblood father dropped out of my life before I was born and I'd never be anything but my mother's daughter. The expectation was Slytherin or Ravenclaw and so thank Merlin I sorted Slytherin. I've never been the smartest but I'm not half bad at being clever and I guess ambition's got me this far. I'm doing fine in most classes - astrology is way more interesting than I gave it credit for - but I still have a long way to go.
