Backstory

Dear New Diary,

My parents moved to Great Britan for business, and I came along with them. We hadn't been living in our apartment for more then a month before my letter came. At first I was confused, because I didn't know about magic or witchcraft or anything. Turns out my dad was a wizard, and he never told us! Well, I guess someone knew, because I was invited to appearently the best Wizarding school in the country. Mom wasn't quite sure about it, but she warmed up to the idea. I was estatic. This was the craziest, best thing that had ever happened to me, and I wasn't going to pass up an opportunity like this. We traveled to London, went shopping in a magical marketplace, and I even got to ride a train!  This school has houses, and I was put into Ravenclaw. I like Ravens, so its seems alright. The dorms are really cozy, and my roommates are nice so far. I've got my first classes in the morning, and I'll write all about it later. Best get some sleep!
