Backstory

I'd say that I chose my job for the purpose of helping people. That's a lie. Honestly, curse breaking is a puzzle. I have to learn new things every day, use every bit of knowledge I have in spell crafting, mathematics, magical theory, culture and history to take down even a single ward around a forgotten temple buried in a mountain or forest or desert. There was this one time somewhere out by Hawaii... Have I mentioned that I get to travel everywhere? Granted, there's very little downtime between getting called in to assist in taking down some barricaded criminal for the Ministry and needing to get to the next ancient ruin before the muggles go and disturb anything important. Also, the pay isn't nearly as great as you might expect and the language barriers are tricky to work around, but that feeling when faced with a five century monstrosity of power and eroded ward stones? Nothing beats taking one of those down. Nothing.
