Backstory
Amelie is the first of her (historically Hufflepuff) family to be sorted into Slytherin. She knows herself to be pureblood, though there are mysterious blank spots on the family tree. She is a 1st year student at Hogwarts; she is incredibly nervous about it, and only okay at hiding her nervousness. Amelie hates to look like an idiot. She is incredibly proud, and will do anything to maintain her image and reputation. Amelie isn't necessarily cunning or shrewd, but is the pinnacle of ambition, self-preservation, determination, and resourcefulness; the sorting hat only hesitated a moment while sorting her due to her family's history. Amelie has a natural ability with divination, though it is unrefined and desperately needs training. She is all too familiar with the feeling of deja vu, and has come to trust her rare visions.
