Backstory

I don't talk much.

And it definitely doesn't help that I'm new to everything here. After a little magic incident at our last family reunion, my parents and I had to move here from America to escape the terrifying onslaught of criticism from all of my Muggle family members. It's not common for students to transfer into Hogwarts from Ilvermorny, especially into their Fourth Year, but I'm lucky to have been granted an exception.

Thankfully, nothing is too drastically different here, but I do keep forgetting the difference between chips and fries. I'm not one to start a conversation first, so it's been a little difficult making new friends and trying to fit in. Either way, I'm excited to start my first year at Hogwarts! I don't know much about these Houses, but Hufflepuff already feels like home to me. My parents have been very encouraging too, and have even gotten me a cat to give me company in the meanwhile.
