Backstory

I was sorted into the Hufflepuff house, the same house as my father was! The Sorting Hat saw me as someone who prioritises their friends and family and works hard to be who they want to be seen as: loyal, helpful and brave. The decision wasn't immediate but I think I was born a Hufflepuff so I don't understand why there was hesitation! However, I guess only the Sorting Hat knows why.
I have always enjoyed History and Herbology so I think these are my favourite classes and I can't even think of a class that I completely hated, all classes were interesting to me. I guess I didn't do particularly well in Arithmancy! I am a half-blood, my mother was a muggle and my father was a pureblood but my mum unfortunately died when I was 9 years old. I think she would be proud of who I have become and how I have made friends in the wizarding world.
Once I finish school I think I would either like to go into teaching or perhaps caring for the natural world and all it involves. I love animals and herbology has been so interesting that I think I would like to continue into this. I stay patient and love to show my care for others.
I already own a few dogs (not at all magic!) and love them. I have missed them a lot since moving to Hogwarts and am sad I couldn't own a dog as my pet in school. However, I love my owl and will always care for any animals I encounter.
