Backstory

Brooklyn's pureblood father, Paul, is a highly ranking American Ministry official, currently working long-term in Britain as a U.S. ambassador. She lived in New York City until she was 13, when her parents moved to Britain and transferred her from Ilvermorny to Hogwarts so she could have the best magical education in the world and so that her father could advance his career. Pam, her muggle-born mother, is a stay-at-home trophy wife whose sole role in the household is to keep Paul happy and present him well in public appearances. Paul is abusive toward both Brooklyn and her mother, and the only thing Brooklyn dislikes about school is that she is unable to be at home to protect her mother.

She's reserved with strangers, but once she gets to know someone she'll open up and be wonderfully weird. She doesn't like large groups and will claim she doesn't like people, but one-on-one she loves to talk and get to know someone in spite of her supposed shyness. She'd rather have a few close friends than put up with a bunch of acquaintances, but in spite of being a loner, she's fiercely loyal to the few people that she loves and would do anything. When angry she's extremely sarcastic and can hold a grudge forever.
