Deanna Baldwin

Backstory

Born in America, I moved to Hogsmeade Village with my parents at a young age. My mother, a witch, and my father, a muggle, opened up a small, enchanting bookstore called Baldwin's Bookhaven where I fell in love with learning and grew my passion for education. I attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and, graduating with high marks, I entered the Ministry of Magic as an employee in the Department of Magical Education. As a Ministry of Magic employee, I find that I have incredible opportunities to visit many other awe-inspiring countries and regions around the world. I have learned 7 languages in the past 10 years I have spent working for the Ministry, and for my passion, dedication, and experience I was promoted to Senior International Correspondent. I have the pleasure of communicating with Wizarding schools around the globe, visiting with officials to discuss the importance of funding early magical education. However, no matter where I may travel, my heart always finds its home when I return to Hogwarts.
