Backstory

As a muggle-born, it took quite a while to warm up to the existence of magic, let alone the wizarding world. When I arrived, I didn't even know what the word Ravenclaw meant. Now as a sixth year, I take pride in it. Coming to Hogwarts for the first time was like being thrown into a fantasy book. There were floating things everywhere, things that usually didn't talk conversing politely with passing students, and a whole new way of thinking that I had only had a glimpse of. My first year here, it was all I could do not to spend the entirety of my classes asking questions. Now that magic has become more a normality, I think the class I enjoy the most is Defence Against the Dark Arts, just cause so much of the stuff is applicable, and we get to move around instead of just sitting and taking notes all day. I also really enjoy talking about scientific explanations for magic, but there isn't a class for that, so usually I just vent to my friends about it. I've been told that I'm really easy to talk to, even about serious stuff, but also that I get myself into trouble sometimes for muttering things under my breath a *little* too loudly. I think when I graduate I want to go into either Ministry work (although I don't like the idea of all that office-work) or some kind of theoretical magic or something. Who knows, maybe I'll come back here and teach! Professor Livingston. Huh. I kinda like the sound of that.
