Imogen Lestrange

Backstory

I'm a half-blood from the United States. Mom's the witch and Dad was a No-Maj (he passed away a few years ago). Mom was from the UK but after meeting my dad on a business trip to Minnesota as a Ministry ambassador, she decided to give up her career and move there for him. He was always very cool about her magic and they were both super excited for me when I started showing signs of magic. Since Mom went to Hogwarts, that's where she always wanted me to go too, even though there's a pretty decent school of magic in America. She was a Ravenclaw, so of course that's the house I wanted to be sorted into. I got really good grades at my pre-magic school and I've always been a voracious reader so I figured I had it in the bag. Wrong. Go figure - the hat put me in Gryffindor. I still haven't figured out why, my anxiety keeps me from being brave but my loud mouth would be better suited among the Slytherins, or so I've been told. Anyways, my favorite classes are DADA, History of Magic, and Potions. I'm hoping to be an Auror someday, maybe, but that's still quite a ways off. I have my mom's old pet owl here with me, a common barn owl named Tempest. I think those are the basics; if there's anything else you'd like to know about me feel free to ask!
