• Hometown: The Galleon of Gulls – a hidden floating wizarding settlement that drifts across the North Sea (although we travel worldwide every so often)

🌊 Backstory

I was not raised in a city, but upon the waves. My home, The Galleon of Gulls, is a magical fleet that sails beneath enchanted mists, unseen by Muggles. My mother is a cartographer who draws maps that shift with the tides, and my father is a magizoologist who studies rare sea creatures.

When I was eight, our ship was attacked by a sea serpent. In my panic, I burst with wild, wandless magic: my body glowed like the ocean floor, light pouring from my fingertips. The creature fled… but ever since, magic sometimes escapes me in luminous bursts. My hair might shimmer in moonlight, or my eyes spark with hidden light. It’s beautiful, but kind scary at times..

I arrived at Hogwarts carrying a waterproof journal that was gifted to my by a mermaid for retrieving her lost set of pearls. Its ink doesn’t stay still — it swirls, drifts, and sometimes writes things on its own. I’m not sure if it’s a guide, a warning, or simply no good. I have no need to write in it, my thoughts seem to write themself in anchient runes and random swirles

🌌 Fun Little Facts

• Collects feathers, seashells, and things that wash ashore and with them I love to make my own jewellery and clothes


• Can fall asleep anywhere if the sound of waves is nearby.


• Once mistook a grindylow for seaweed. It did not go well.


• I once fell off a ship in the middle of the ocean and a mermaid and her mantaray companion rescued me, ever since the mer-people have almost looked out for me
