Amelie got sorted to Hufflepuff when she entered Hogwarts as 11-years-old. She still remembers the horror that took over her soul - what would parents say? Next morning when her parents found out, they took them home and demanded re-sorting immediately - they were sure that sorting hat had made a huge mistake. There began an argument between the school, Amelies parents and Ministry of Magic which took 5 years. Finally, when Ministry of Magic threatened to ban Amelie's attendance for good, her parents had to send her to Hogwarts - as Hufflepuff. They however made a demand - if Amelie wanted to travel home for holidays - or carry the name of Pinkerton - she had to prove that she is true Slytherin. Only that Amelie has no idea how to do it.
Physique:
Amelie is red-haired, green-eyed girl. Her look is piercing, not revealing anything about herself, but trying to find out everything about you first. Her skin is pale, and she usually has dark makeup around her eyes. She does not look like stereotypical Hufflepuff.
Character
Amelie's parents have been strict on her, making it clear since child that Slytherin is the house to be in. This taught Amelie to hide her true emotions, to act "like true Slytherin". She also doesn't have many friends, due to her parents mysterious nature. Her older brother, Micah, has always been there for her though, and Amelie writes him every now and then.
Amelie is introverted and hard to connect with. She might seem even rude, even if it might be just her confusion which swirls around his sorting into Hufflepuff, and the feeling about not truly belonging to any house. However, when she wants to defend somebody, she is fearless, strong and powerful.
With studies Amelie is clever and she often thinks outside of the box, in ways many other students don't usually think.
Amelie has no idea what she will become when growing up. Right now she is only worried, if she will be worthy of carrying her family name in the eyes of her parents, since sorting into Hufflepuff shocked them so vastly.
Backgroung
As Slytherins, pure-bloods and a bit muggle-hating, Amelie's parents have high demands for their children. Amelie's father is a highly respected auror, while Amelie's mother has been working as an "enchanter", as she calls herself. In reality, Amelie knows very little about her parents' work, and suspects that her brother Micah knows a lot more. Micah is also former Slytherin, and after graduation has worked as dragon trainer somewhere in North.
