Backstory
I was sorted into Slytherin - by most people this is usually associated with being bad or evil, even though you can be in the Slytherin house and still be nice, you might just have a tendency:)
Nonetheless, my father was in Slytherin as well, he was quite athletic, artsy and kind, still he also had a very dark side, which sadly lead to his death. My mother, on the other hand, was a Ravenclaw, she is the most elegant person I know, smart, sophisticated, passionate, she likes to dance and she loves music and poetry. They were a great and enviable couple together and I wish my father would not have turned to the dark side.
The Sorting Hat thought about its decision for me wisely and it took a little while, it was clear though, where I belong. I was probably put into Slytherin because of my firstness and my discipline, I know my goals, I know my path, I know my people, I do enjoy fun, yet I prefer silence and peace. Just like my father, I am very athletic and into art as well as I like poetry, dance and music just like my mother.
I am a pureblooded witch, although I do not judge anyone for their families. Of course this brings many advantages for me, especially while being in Slytherin, since most of these students define people by their blood status, I try to stay away from them by the way.
When it comes to my art, I am an exhausting perfectionist, I care for every little detail and I am rarely completey convinced or satisfied by it. Apropos I paint (mostly sketch though), I do poetry and I play and make music. The only hobby were I am chill is crocheting, it relaxes me somehow and I honestly don't even mind if it turns out crappy.
I am an introvert, if you haven't noticed yet:) I know I would truly enjoy it, because I simply love being all by myself, it is cozy and safe, the society unfortunately forces me to socialise, which, to be sure, is not all bad. I am so grateful for my friendgroup, I love spending time with them, since they are all extroverts, it can get very overwhelming sometimes, though.
Doing magic is for me a personal kind of meditation, it connects, it warms, it hurts, it enlightens. I have always found it fascinating. I literally could not imagine my life without the ability to do magic, and, it does sound cheesy, yet I find comfort in the thought that magic is always all around us, keeping us light-hearted and sane.
Maybe, if someone is interested, here are SOME of my favourite movies/TV shows: Friends, Wallace and Gromit, Paddginton, Dead Poets Society, West Side Story, Hamilton, Notting Hill, The Muppet Show, Miss Maple (original), Almost Famous, The Breakfast Club
