Seraphine Snape

Backstory

In essence, Seraphine Snape exemplifies the ambition, complexity, and emotional depth that make Slytherins so compelling. She isn’t simply “dark” or “cunning” — she’s strategic, self-aware, and driven, which places her firmly within the green and silver house. Yet, the decision of the Sorting Hat took long, it was caused by her other personality traits, such as loyalty, bravery or intelligence. Even though she matched with other houses, she used those traits to support her strategies, which made her perfectly suitable only for Slytherin.  Seraphine's favourite classes are Astronomy, Potions and Defence Against Dark Arts. She doesn't have the least liked class though. Her greatest weakness is her refusal — or inability — to let others truly see her. This manifests as emotional walls, prideful independence, and a reliance on intellect and strategy over trust and vulnerability. Ironically, this is also what makes her such a powerful and tragic character — her strength lies in what ultimately isolates her. Seraphine looks forward to invent new potions, medicine and to start healing magical creatures.
