Backstory

• Name: Lyric Featherfall


• Date of Birth: February 10th, 2011


• Appearance: Petite build, with long, tangled dirty blond hair often pulled back in a messy bun. Large, observant blue grey eyes that seem to hold more wisdom than her age suggests. Clothes are often hand-me-downs and slightly ill-fitting.


• Personality: Lyric is outwardly quiet and observant, a survival tactic developed from years of navigating a cold home environment. She's fiercely independent and responsible, having essentially raised herself. Beneath the surface, however, lies a deep well of creativity, a longing for acceptance and connection, and an unyielding spirit. She's also incredibly loyal to those who earn her trust. Her sense of humour is dry and sarcastic, often used as a defense mechanism. She is very intelligent and quick to learn.

Motivation and Goals:

• Core Motivation: To find a place where she belongs and is valued for who she is, not for what she can do. To build a family of her own, whether through blood or through bond.


• Short-Term Goals: To excel at Hogwarts and prove to herself (and perhaps to her parents, though she'd never admit it) that she's capable of great things. To master her magical abilities and find a niche where she can truly shine.


• Long-Term Goals: To find a profession that allows her to use her creativity and help others. To create a warm and loving home for herself and potentially for others in the future.

Significant Events:

• Early Childhood: Neglect and Responsibility: From a young age, Lyric was largely ignored by her parents, who were consumed by their own problems and careers. She learned to cook, clean, and care for herself, effectively becoming the adult in the household. This fostered a sense of self-reliance but also a deep-seated insecurity about her worth.

Lyric struggled to create a Patronus, because she realised how little true happiness she felt in her life. She felt disconnected for her parents, and longed to feel love and belonging.

• Parents (Mr. and Mrs. Featherfall): An emotionally distant and neglectful relationship. They view Lyric as an inconvenience and rarely show her affection or support. There is no trust or warmth between them.
