Backstory

Age 1- nothing eventful besides being born

Age 2- x

Age 3- has “met” his neighbors who have a son 4 years older than him and they all wonder if they'll be friends when they're older

Age 4- mother is pregnant with brother

Age 5- younger brother is alive, and Roman has begun young child school

Age 6- he has been told stories about a magical world, as he questions why he's been getting bullied at school for being “different”

Age 7- his mother has disappeared, he is now learning how to cook, clean, and take care of his brother (age 3) when father is too drunk to handle the both of them

Age 8- he became best friends with the “cool older boy next door,” (age 12) and was told about a magic school that was only for the elites. They would often talk about going to school together and he daydreamed about a life where his father wasn't neglectful, but worried his brother would never receive proper care while he left

Age 9- he began studying while multitasking taking care of the house, which became a lot more manageable after calling his aunt, Riley Redmond to help after almost getting hit by his drunk father. His father is currently away elsewhere to “get better.” He wonders to himself what he did wrong, but stays strong for his younger brother who doesn't understand why he's “missing.”

Age 10- fathers returned home and is a lot more himself. He's present and he can focus on schoolwork and being an older brother and child again.

Age 11- he's been dreaming this whole year for an acceptance letter. When one finally arrived, he was beyond overjoyed. His father encouraged him to enter the world, knowing he would exceed greatly like his mother seemed to. He seems to be better, he doesn't hate her anymore… he wonders a lot about where she is. He misses her. But he's excited, and Ray will be safe now that father has gotten better.
