Backstory
Although the general cutoff for students attending Hogwarts as a first year is September 1st, a private visit from the headmaster determined that I would attend and celebrate my 11th birthday on the 1st full day back, September 2. According to the headmaster, it seemed that I was ready and would get along better with that year's students based on maturity than if I had waited a year. Sometimes I think that if that was the determining factor, than I should have gone a year or two earlier. Either way, I'm a 17 year old 7th year student who is interested in teaching at Hogwarts. Because of this, I have an arrangement with certain teachers that allows me to "retake" beginner level classes focusing on teaching method rather than content. I am a muggle born student. My parents were so strongly opposed to magic that a memory wipe was deemed necessary. They believe that I go to a prestigious boarding school for the majority of the year. I have an older sister and several younger brothers. None have shown enough signs of magic to warrant magical education. My Hogwarts classes are, of course, online. During the day, I attend a half magic school in the Northern United States that emphasizes both magical and muggle educative subjects. By favorite color is blue, I love winter. I enjoy rather unconventional magic-using methods including the following: wand-less magic, meditative magic, emotive magic (fueled my emotion,) duel-wand magic (middle Eastern, the user has two wands made of different types of metal and other substances, one is generally for defense and the other for offence, offence is used by dominant hand, the wands are often decorated as chopsticks for the purpose of concealment from muggles, the term "duel"wands refers both to the fact that there are two and to the fact that they are generally used for dueling). I hope to get a job at Hogwarts teaching these unconventional methods.
