Backstory

I grew up in a quiet, wooded valley where the air always seemed to hum with hidden magic. My family were carpenters, so I learned to work with wood before I could even write my name. By the time I was old enough to hold a carving knife, I was making little wooden figures, staffs, and charms.

One afternoon, while wandering deep into the forest, I stumbled upon a cracked, moss-covered wand buried in the roots of an old oak. It no longer held magic, but the craftsmanship was unlike anything I had ever seen. That discovery changed my life.

Since then, I’ve collected every scrap of information I could find about wandlore — from the properties of different woods to the temperaments of magical cores. My journals are full of sketches, measurements, and wild theories. I’ve never made a proper wand, but I dream of one day apprenticing under a true master, learning the delicate art of pairing wood and core so perfectly that the wand almost sings in its owner’s hand.

At Hogwarts, I study everything that might bring me closer to that dream — Herbology for the magical trees, Care of Magical Creatures for potential cores, Charms for wandwork precision. I’m usually quiet, but get me talking about wandmaking, and you’ll see my eyes light up like embers in a hearth. One day, I’ll craft wands that not only choose their owners, but change their lives.
