Sofia Apricus

Backstory

I am of shorter stature. I have green eyes and dirty blond hair which reaches around the end of my back. There are freckles across my nose, cheeks and arms.

I love learning new languages and reading, and have always gotten good grades in class. I tend to be a realist, but turn to optimism when situations seem grim. I love jumping head first into a new problem, and that leads others to believe that I am impulsive. I am equal parts okay with leading and following, only leading if I have to. Trying new things excites me and feels like an adventure.

I grew up with loving parents (Both muggles) and two little sisters. My Dad was born in Cork county and met my Papa at an event in Limerick. They started dating and Dad moved to Kerry to live with Papa. I loved crisps, and would eat them every day. That is what I'll probably miss most when going to Hogwarts. I went to an elementary school in Kerry, Ireland. The teachers loved me but thought that I should spend less time climbing trees (I was quite accident prone).

While I was four, in the midst of a temper tantrum I inexplicably caused flowers to blossom along the kitchen counter. They were daisies. My Papa was the one to witness it and he thought he was going crazy until my Dad saw me levitating my stuffed animal towards me a week later. There might have been earlier instances of magic but that was the first that my Dads remember.
