Best things that have ever happened to me:

1- Attending Hogwarts: I seriously don't care if it is online, cause ever since I read the Harry Potter books, i've been wanting to attend Hogwarts, and when I got to know about this site, I literally screamed in joy!

2- Getting selected as the Throwball Capt. for my house team: literally the best day of my life cause i'm ever so passionate about sports and stuff.

3- Joining a volunteering program at a hospital: Now, I know what you guys might be thinking, ughh, boringg! BUT NO! Cause, omg that was the best week of my life. I met new people, made friends, cheered up little kids at the hospital, visited the elderly wards, and believe me, it made me so happy to see them happy, and OMGG, DID I WANT IT TO NEVER END!!! And even now, me and my friends (who volunteered with me too) are always thinking about that program. So guys, if u ever get the chance for volunteering at a hospital or even go to a summer camp, I would definitely say GO FOR IT!!! Cause istg it is AMAZINGGG!!!!

4- Joining Hogwarts Monthly News (HMN): Personally, i've always wanted to join a  magazine, and this magazine is literally the BEST (Well, for me it is!). I love writing pieces and editing some, and i LOVE working with the team. A big shoutout to Sienna Lockwood for coming up with the idea of creating this magazine, to Hazel Emory Antler for being such an amazing head, to Sara Rowan for being an amazing publishing secretary, to Ivy Dewdrop for also being an amazing assistant secretary, to Autumn Edelstein for being an amazing website manager (LOVE the website), and to the rest of the team for being such amazing fellow workers ♥. I truly am grateful for the opportunity to work with all of you guys <333.

Story about how I got my Hogwarts letter:

It was an ordinary summer afternoon when my life changed forever. The sun hung lazily in the sky, casting warm, golden hues over our little suburban neighbourhood. I was lounging on the worn-out swing in our backyard, lost in a book as usual when I noticed something peculiar out of the corner of my eye.

A strange bird, larger than I'd seen before, was swooping toward our house. Its feathers glistened with an iridescent sheen and moved with an eerie grace. As it drew nearer, I realised it was an owl—a species not common in our part of the world. Clutched in its talons was a thick, cream-coloured envelope.

The owl landed gracefully on the back of the swing, startling me from my reading. It extended its leg, presenting the envelope as if it knew it was of utmost importance. My heart pounded with curiosity and excitement as I reached out to take it.

The envelope was addressed in emerald green ink:

With trembling fingers, I broke the wax seal, emblazoned with a coat of arms featuring a lion, a snake, a badger, and a raven surrounding a large letter "H". Inside was a letter written on thick parchment:

Dear Ms. Potter, 

We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipment.

Term begins on 1 September. We await your owl by no later than 31 July.

I reread the letter multiple times, trying to absorb its meaning. Magic? Hogwarts? It couldn't be real—could it? I glanced up at the owl, which was now perched on the back of the swing, watching me intently as if awaiting a response.

"Mom! Dad!" I shouted, bursting into the house. My parents exchanged confused glances as I handed them the letter. As they read it, their expressions shifted from scepticism to awe. They had heard stories of such things from their parents and grandparents, who whispered about a hidden magical world.

The next few days were a whirlwind. We travelled to Diagon Alley, hidden from the eyes of ordinary people, to gather my school supplies. The magical world was more incredible than I could have ever imagined. We bought a wand from Ollivanders, books from Flourish and Blotts, and even a pet owl to send my response.

When September 1st arrived, I was filled with excitement and nerves. King's Cross Station was bustling, and it took a bit of searching to find Platform 9¾. With a deep breath and a running start, I passed through the barrier and emerged onto the platform where the Hogwarts Express awaited.
