Backstory

Before Hogwarts

     When I received my Hogwarts Letter that faithful day, I didn’t know what it would mean. At first, I thought it was just a joke, ya know? My brother sometimes played pranks on me or blamed me when some weird stuff happened around the house. How was I supposed to know if it wasn't normal for book pages to turn themselves? Anyway, my parents were going to go shopping in London and so they figured they would humor me. Boy, the look on their face when we stopped by the Barren Bulldog pub and the sign said “The Leaky Cauldron” instead! The innkeeper was an odd but friendly man, and there were some people to help show us around. The coolest part of Diagon Alley was the bookstore, I mean, some of them flew! I'm not very good at much... including school, but I love books! "And read way too quickly" to quote my parents. I've even finished with all my books before school even started! Although to be fair, Ms. McGonagall told me the letters come based on your birthday, so I had 2 and a half months to read all the required books and then spent every last converted dime from my personal now savings rather then my lifetime savings for the other 11 books my parents allowed me. Oh, and I have a ferret! I'm allergic to animals (though luckily it's not too bad) and my parents don't want fur in the house and my dad is terrified of the owls so I convinced them as for a birthday present to get a small animal and since I can do magic I'll find a way to not make him stinky. (Though I think Avon the Ferret Bard does not smell but smells like incredibly old book pages that got burnt a long time ago, or aka doesn't smell "horrid" at all. And yes, I named him after Shakespeare, it doesn't concern you... shoo!
