Backstory

𝓗𝓘,𝓦𝓔𝓛𝓒𝓞𝓜𝓔 𝓣𝓞 𝓜𝓨 𝓑𝓐𝓒𝓚𝓢𝓣𝓞𝓡𝓨!!!

Being a Muggled-Born (which I'm proud of), I never knew until the day I received my Hogwarts letter why weird things always happen to me. It started when I was five years old. A gang og bullies was chasing after me, and they were wayf aster than I was. Yet at the precise moment when it seemed I was about to be caught up, I found myself safely standing at a path miles away, the bullies nowhere to be seen! I was in such a state of shock I felt dreamy the whole day. And ever since then, odd things kept happening around me. My family never talked to me about this - maybe they don't know what happened either. 

That changed shortly after my eleventh birthday - I finally discovered then that I am a witch. I received my Hogwarts letter one morning when I was eating breakfast. And owl with the post flew in stright through the open window and landed right beside my milk jug. It caused quite a fuss. Soon, I realized there's a letter tied to its leg. I untied the letter and read my letter out loud to my parents. Their eyes widened in amazement and pride as I read the letter in a thriller voice. 

As for the sorting... I'm a Hatstall. I do beleive I'm a Gryffindor inside, but there's elements of other houses inside of me too. Afterall, I think we're all a combination of  every houses. Nobody is either black or white. 

I have some favorite subjects here on HiH. I like Transfiguration because of its unique beauty and, in some way, because of its complexity. Potions becasue it is (to quote Severus Snape) a subtle science and exact art. Astronomy because of its profoundness and mysteriousness. 

My Patronus is a march harrier. A marsh harrier Patronus is a bird of prey, and they are true survivors. Highly intelligent and witty, they are stealthy hunters and out-of-box thinkers. Along with this Patronus, you like know how to get yourself creatively and logically out of challenging situations. 
So many would think it sounds like the perfect Patronus of a wise Ravenclaw, which is true, but hey, who says Gryffindors cant be smart and creative? 

I like reading and writing - in fact, I like them so much that I sometimes do them at midnight! I love books written by Charles Dickens, Jane Austen, Agathat Christine, Alexandre Duman (both father and son), Victor Hugo, Roald Dahl, J.R.R. Tolkeins and J.K.Rowling (obviously) very much!  And as for Charlotte Brontë, I like Jane Eyre, and I can't deny that she is a marvellous writer, but I always see anger in her writing. And that's why I think her realm of writing is not as good as Jane Austen's. Jane Austen doesn't care what others think and is peaceful and doesn't have any distracting thoughts while writing. Not the same with Charlotte Brontë

I love ASTROLOGY!!! My sun sign is Libra ♎️. 

My moom sign is Scorpio♏️. That fits me quite well, actually. I will speak the truth whatsoever, even if speaking the truth will cause me serious troubles (except for the midnight thing). That's only right, isn't it? Only I won't speak the truth out loud if that really hurts somedbody's feelings, like saying "you can only live for half a month" to a patient.

My rising sign is Cancer ♋️. Having Libra as your sun sign and Cancer as your rising sign can actually be confusing... For Libra matches Aphrodite, the goddess of love, and the goddess of love never went well the the goddess of virgin, like Artemis. But the good thing is, a person with Libra sun Cancer rising can be a good writer, editor, or publisher. I definitely love writing, and in my not so humble opinion, I'm quite talented at it.

Favorite charcters: 1. Angelica! Every scrifice is for her sister, whom she loves dearly, Give her sister the best life out of pure love and care... Her love for her sister Eliza makes her one of the strongest and braves characters in the musical. The fact that she's a firm feminist adds a bonus point.
2. Eliza! Her unwavering determination plus her loving and kind inner character... who won't love her?

Les Misérables:
Favorite characters:1. Jean Valjean. Oh God, this one - everyone knows this one! But I've also got a special extra reason: his suffering during his early years is the reflection of the unfair dark society then Victor Hugo wanted to mirror. But still, I can't say Javert is bad - nobody is pure bad. He had his beleifs.

Shatter Me: 
Favorite characters: I can't decide, really. But think this way - they're all amazing. I'm not sure why, but I sorta appreciate Kenji's humor - but not the swearing. But that's part of him, right?
Favorite book: I love them all. They're simply so unique and thrilling! Once I started reading, I can't even put them down! It's like being sucked into a strong tornado!

Favorite characters: Eowyn. "What are you afraid of, then?" "A cage". This conversation sounds oddly familiar to me, because the same "cage" has appeared in Charlotte Brontë's Jane Eyre. Eowyn is the awakening of women. She's brave, positive, high willpowered, yet kind, tender and graceful. Love her. <3

Favorite book: The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. Perfect book. More seasoned than the first one, and more precise than the third.

𝓜𝔂 𝓯𝓪𝓿𝓸𝓻𝓲𝓽𝓮 𝓼𝓾𝓫𝓳𝓮𝓬𝓽𝓼 𝓲𝓷 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓜𝓾𝓰𝓰𝓵𝓮 𝔀𝓸𝓻𝓵𝓭:

• Maths, Physics, and Science! They're even more mysterious than mystery books! They're sorta like Transfiguration, I think. Even if I"m not best at any of those subjects, I can't help but love them still.
  


• Music. I hated this subject in my first year, but I'm just helpless now! The new teacher is amazing, and I can learn a lot of extra thins onther than things in our textbooks. I found the developement of music very engaging and interesting!
  


• History. Well, I like learning about things that happened in the past and summarizing experience from the mistakes made by people then. Also, I got loads of inspirations from stories of  celebreties. Hamilton the musical was also about history, and it slays!

𝓣𝓱𝓲𝓷𝓰𝓼 𝓘 𝓵𝓲𝓴𝓮:                                                                     

• Redaing and writeing (which I've alread written above)


• Watching films/plays. Although books are certainly better than films, films are still amazing. I love all kinds of films. I even watch films from the 1930s~1960s lol.


• Unblock websites, using VPN. It's really a dangerous thing to say, but, I like that! I don't care if I'm discovered (it's not exactly allowed here). I can use that to see YouTube, Google, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram... You get the idea. 


• Learning francais. I find language attractive for me. I thouhg, now i;ve learned English (I'm from China, and therefor my first language is Chinese), why don't I learn another language? And I pickes French because I think it's beautiful. Although I need to spend loads of time on it, I don't regret is.


• And now I'm studying Greek (the pronunciation is interestin), Spanish (I'm very interesting in Spahish culture), German (my mom kinda likes Germany), and Italian (for now reason)! But really, I need to learn the Greek alphabet first! : )


• ARcHerY aRcheRY ArChERy!!! I like the way the arrows soar across the air and the bowstrings shuddering. But that's not it! I also appreciate the bery moment when an arrow shot. Weird, isn't it? Well, I'm a weird girl. : )

• Writing poems. Just love the rhyme!


• Doing my homework. That's a bit weird, isn't it? Is there anything wrong with me?


• Watching the Holyhead Harpies play! That's my favorite Quidditch team, and the team Ginny Weasley's on. Though I think the Montrose Magpies will also suite me.


• Potterhead

I know there's nothing extrememly fascinating, but you'll find doing those things when bored is a good way to kill Bill, I mean, time. So, I barely get bored these days!

Personality: daring, courageous, sometimes even reckless, very stubborn, yet kind and understanding, clever and humble (but really, saying it is not bery humble), moody and sort of like and oddball, not so confident, bit shy, but once I get started, you won't be expecting me to stop.
