Backstory

I derive from a lineage of pure-bloods. All Slytherins. So imagine my surprise when the Sorting Hat put me into Hufflepuff. However, I cannot describe how honoured I am to represent such a spirited and caring house. They immediately welcomed me with open arms, valuing me for who I am rather than the family name I wore. My mother and I were shunned by our so-called "family"; they exiled us and branded us as "blood-traitors". This may be the reason why I didn't end up in Slytherin. I'm devoted to ensure my mother's safety from the side of the family that wishes to rid of us.
